On June 14^th, 2023 M&M Carnot performed a ribbon cutting ceremony, celebrating the completion of phase one of their 50,000 sq, ft expansion to their Federalsburg, MD manufacturing plant. The ceremony brought a community of people together, including special guests Maryland’s Secretary of Commence Kevin A. Anderson, Senior Business Development Nancy Lajoie, Federalsburg Mayor Kimberly M. Abner, and Executive Director of the Caroline County Chamber Tracey Snyder as well as county commissioners and many other local state government officials. This new expansion creates over 100 new highly technical and skilled employment opportunities for the community.

M&M Carnot’s facility expansion will be a fully dedicated manufacturing space for the Aquilon Industrial CO₂ package product line. The space has been configured to efficiently manufacture the CO₂ standard packages with an assembly line approach, ensuring maximum quality and lowest lead times. This expansion further demonstrates M&M Carnot’s mission to provide natural refrigeration equipment and support their customers’ journey to sustainability. This expansion will be the first of others to come in the next 12 to 24 months as M&M Carnot continues to supply natural refrigeration packages and equipment.

M&M Carnot developed it’s standard Aquilon CO₂ package product line to promote the adoption of natural refrigeration CO₂ equipment in the industrial refrigeration space, for applications including cold storage and distribution, food processing, and ice rinks. The Aquilon CO₂ products provide end users with alternative natural refrigeration solution to ammonia, while also removing the perceived complexity of CO₂ solutions by offering a fully packaged system.
